How to Publish on Casetech

Everything you need to create and publish great courses

1Create Your Course

Head to your Creator Studio and click New Course. Fill in the course details — title, description, category, level, and price. You can save at any point; courses start as a Draft until you're ready to submit.

Course fields explained

TitleClear and specific — e.g. "Complete Figma for Beginners"
DescriptionWhat students will learn. Be specific about outcomes.
CategoryPick the closest match from the dropdown.
LevelBeginner, Intermediate, or Advanced.
PriceSet to 0 for a free course, or enter a price in Naira.
DurationTotal course length — e.g. "4 hours" or "6 weeks".

2Add Lessons

Each lesson is a separate video module. Students navigate through your course lesson by lesson, marking each one complete as they go. A well-structured course with clear lesson titles dramatically improves completion rates.

One video per lesson
Each lesson gets its own YouTube video URL — keep them focused and digestible
Progress tracking
Students mark lessons complete and see their overall % progress in real time
Free previews
Toggle any lesson as "Free Preview" so students can sample before enrolling

How to add a lesson

  1. 1
    Click "Add Lesson"
Inside the course editor, scroll down and click Add Lesson to create a new lesson slot.
  2. 2
    Enter a lesson title
Keep it short and descriptive — e.g. "Setting Up Your Workspace" or "Building the Navigation Bar".
  3. 3
    Paste the YouTube video URL
Paste the full YouTube link or just the video ID. The video must be Public or Unlisted — Private videos will not play.
  4. 4
    Set the duration
Enter the video length in a readable format — e.g. "14:30" or "1 hour 20 mins".
  5. 5
    Toggle Free Preview (optional)
Turn this on for your first 1–2 lessons so students can preview your teaching style before enrolling.
  6. 6
    Repeat for each lesson
Add as many lessons as your course needs. Drag to reorder once saved.

Accepted YouTube URL formats

Any of these formats work — paste whichever you have.

⚠️ Important: Your YouTube video must be set to Public or Unlisted. Private videos cannot be embedded and will show an error to students.

3Publishing Your Course

All courses go through a quick review before going live. This keeps quality high for students and protects your reputation as a creator.

Draft

Your course is saved but not visible to students. Work on it at your own pace — add lessons, refine descriptions, tweak pricing.

⏳ Pending Review

You've submitted the course. Our team will review it for quality and completeness — usually within 24–48 hours. You'll get a notification when it's approved or if changes are needed.

✓ Live

Your course is published and visible to all Casetech students. You'll be notified when students enrol.

To submit: Go to My Courses in your Creator Studio, find your course, and click Submit for Review. The Casetech team will be notified instantly.
